Our Pupils took part in the INTER-PRIMARY SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION CL
Dear Shuqunites,
Our Pupils took part in the INTER-PRIMARY SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION Chinese Language yesterday on the 23rd October 2007 @ NanHua Primary School.
Being the 1st time participating in such a grand competition, although our pupils did not make it to the 2nd round, but they have done their best, and they have learnt quite a great deal throughout the process of preparing for the debate, sourcing for informations and resources from the INTERNET, discussing with our resource teacher, Mdm Sun Chun as well as our Mdm Jia Bin, on the content, trying extremely hard to overcome the difficulties of interpretation of the scripts.
And also thanks to the group of wonderful, competitive, and helpful pupils who helped the four pupils prepare for their debate competition. Their competitiveness and active involvement had been one of the factor that contributed to the wonderful and fruitful learning experience, as they helped our participants to surface out the possible questions.
Another heartfelt thanks to our opponent - Princess Elizabeth Primary School for giving our participants a good learning opportunity.
Last but not least, thanks to the school for offering our pupils a chance to expose themselves to this debate competition. This compeition really triggered the learning passion in them...
Thanks for everything... hope for better next time round... We'll be better...

Points to note for all Ex-students....
Points to note for all Ex-students....
For ex-pupils who will be coming back to Shuqun Primary School
As part of our safety measures, protecting the our pupils, here are some of the points we all have to adhere to. This is to prevent any unwanted people who are not ex-Shuqunites to come into the school... putting our pupils at risk...
[for all pupils who are still studying]
1）Category A - Ex-pupils (studying in Secondary School)
2)Category B - Ex-pupils (studying in Tertiery Institution, e.g. Singapore Polytechnic, NTU, NUS)
3)Category C - Ex-pupils (who are already working)
Category A - Ex-pupils (studying in Secondary School)
Please note that, at any occasions, when you need or wish to come back to Shuqun Primary School, you are always required to : -
- in you current school uniform
- be neat
- informed any teacher of your visit.
Category B - Ex-pupils (studying in Tertiery Institution, e.g. Singapore Polytechnic, NTU, NUS)
Please note that, at any occasions, when you need to or wish to come back to Shuqun Primary School, you are required to : -
- register yourself at the gate where the security guard will need you to leave your details.
- informed any teacher of your visit.
Category C - Ex-pupils (who are already working)
- You are encouraged to come back to our school, but you will also need to contact us (Mdm Tan Siow Cheng or Miss Zeng Yingxu), so that we will have someone available to attend to you.
*** Please adhere to the points mentioned above.
*** Wishing you have a pleasant visit back in Shuqun Primary School.

This is to welcome back all the ex-pupils of Shuqun Primary School and Seh Chuan School, providing a good chance to gather all of you in our school compound, interact and to recall some sweet memories.
For Ex-pupils from Seh Chuan School, our school has come out with a Heritage Gallery, which collects all the wonderful past memories of Seh Chuan School. Come and take a look, you'll be thrilled to see the whole spread of artefacts you can find in our Gallery.
