Dear Shuqunites,
Our Pupils took part in the INTER-PRIMARY SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION Chinese Language yesterday on the 23rd October 2007 @ NanHua Primary School.
Being the 1st time participating in such a grand competition, although our pupils did not make it to the 2nd round, but they have done their best, and they have learnt quite a great deal throughout the process of preparing for the debate, sourcing for informations and resources from the INTERNET, discussing with our resource teacher, Mdm Sun Chun as well as our Mdm Jia Bin, on the content, trying extremely hard to overcome the difficulties of interpretation of the scripts.
And also thanks to the group of wonderful, competitive, and helpful pupils who helped the four pupils prepare for their debate competition. Their competitiveness and active involvement had been one of the factor that contributed to the wonderful and fruitful learning experience, as they helped our participants to surface out the possible questions.
Another heartfelt thanks to our opponent - Princess Elizabeth Primary School for giving our participants a good learning opportunity.
Last but not least, thanks to the school for offering our pupils a chance to expose themselves to this debate competition. This compeition really triggered the learning passion in them...
